Terms & Conditions

Returns


Hauteloom offers a generous return period for all items. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Non-defective items: You have 30 days from the delivery date to initiate a return.
  • Damaged or lost items: Claims for these issues must be submitted within 7
    days of delivery.
  • Defective items: You have 60 days from the delivery date to report a defective item. Only returns or claims submitted within these specified timeframes will be considered.

Please note the following conditions for all returns:

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items, regardless of the reason for the return. This fee will be waived only if the item had damage or a defect at the time of delivery that was not caused by the customer.
  • Item Condition: If, upon inspection, Hauteloom identifies damage or defects resulting from customer usage, you will be responsible for the full cost of the rug, as well as all associated shipping charges.
  • Packaging: Please return all products in their original or equivalent packaging. Items must be returned with the same shipping dimensions as when they were delivered to avoid additional shipping costs.


We do not accept returns for rug pads and clearance items. Additionally, items purchased from our retail partners (and not directly from our website) are nonreturnable.

Cancellations


Cancellations are not guaranteed. Once an order has been dispatched for shipping, it can no longer be canceled. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to support@hauteloom.com. Hauteloom will send you an email confirmation once the cancellation has been processed.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY


Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES


As we mentioned, we do not share your data with third-party services.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. While nomethod of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS
requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
